The purpose of this professional study is to help administrators consider blended learning strategies for their schools. Whether a student is absent, sick, or there is an unexpected crisis, the ability for students to continue to learn from home is important and valuable. Having an online presence for students allows the students to be able to continue to work from home. Administrators play a major role in making sure that students have these opportunities available to them.
As many times our education system is considered outdated, this PLU is “presented as a decision-making tool for administrators to consider including blended learning formats in their strategies to address the effects of the questionable outlook of the outdated structure of the US education system” (Boone, 2015).
A prerequisite of the study will be that all participants are employed by the Mobile County Public Schools and hold a current administrative certificate from the state of Alabama.
